I'm an experienced commissioning manager with over 30 years of expertise in industrial operations, commissioning, and maintenance.

My journey began in the French Navy, where I developed a solid foundation in electromechanics and leadership. Later, I transitioned to the private sector to tackle large-scale industrial projects across diverse industries.

Commissioning Manager for Demathieu Bard – ITER Project

I managed the commissioning of buildings and LOAD Centers, coordinating test schedules with subcontractors, reviewing key documentation, and leading the team to ensure quality and safety during site acceptance and equipment tests.

2019 - 2021

Deputy Commissioning Manager for EXYTE – ITER Project

As the deputy commissioning manager for buildings B13 and B61, I supervised subcontractor teams, coordinated commissioning schedules, and validated construction elements prior to hand-over. I also took part in factory acceptance tests, managed the commissioning of air handling units, lighting, and distribution panels, and oversaw BMS and LOTO procedures, all while maintaining clear communication with subcontractors and support teams.

2018 - 2019

Commissioning Manager for Clemessy – ITER Project

I established test schedules with the construction team, coordinated meetings to monitor equipment installation, and managed the commissioning team. I also prepared SAT0 elements, ensured quality control of test documentation, commissioned electrical cabinets and HVAC units, validated PLC signals, and reported directly to the project manager.

2017 - 2018

Site coordination assistance HGPI Single Shaft Turbine – BAYET

During a turbine shutdown (HGPI), I supported the maintenance manager by closely monitoring work progress using ANSALDO. I prepared detailed work orders through MAXIMO CMMS software to ensure all tasks were clearly defined and tracked. In addition, I coordinated meetings with subcontractors to review ongoing activities, address any issues, and align on next steps. My role also involved compiling comprehensive reports, ensuring that all stakeholders were well-informed about the progress and any challenges encountered during the shutdown.

2016 - 2017

Commissioning manager Desulfurization unit (Wet System) - ALSTOM GE Cordemais - TR4 – EDF Power Plant

I led the commissioning of the FGD (flue gas desulfurization) plant, managing the commissioning team and collaborating with the site manager to monitor equipment installation and progress. I prepared and validated the commissioning schedule with the customer, developed detailed execution procedures, and served as the main interface with CIT EDF and the study office in Italy. Additionally, I supervised both cold and hot commissioning tests, including those for 1MW pumps, conducted performance testing, and organized staff training.

2015 - 2016

Commissioning manager Desulfurization unit (Wet System) - ALSTOM GE in Le Havre - EDF power plant.

I led the commissioning of the FGD system, managing the team and working closely with the site manager to monitor equipment installation and progress. I prepared and validated the commissioning schedule with the customer, developed execution procedures (PEE), and served as the main interface with CIT EDF and the study office in Italy. Additionally, I coordinated test follow-up meetings, supervised both cold and hot commissioning tests (including 1MW pumps), and handled performance testing and staff training.

2014 - 2015

Commissioning Eng. Incineration Unit in CARDIFF – CNIM

I served as the key interface between CNIM and the LAB, transferring electrical installations and testing the main LV board along with feeders to the flue gas treatment system. I also synchronized switchboard inputs and outputs across two lines, validated control box signals to the DCS, and conducted electromechanical tests on motors. In addition, coordinated closely with subcontractors, and managed on-call duties.

2012 - 2014

Commissioning Eng. Incineration unit in TURIN - CNIM

I led the commissioning of three incineration lines, including a 22.5 t/h Martin grate furnace, performing both cold and hot tests. I synchronized boiler I/O with BOP equipment, commissioned instrumentation, and validated Profibus DP/PA tests. I also oversaw the commissioning of ash removal systems and the urea injection system for flue gas treatment, tested electrical switchboards, monitored subcontractor modifications, and conducted electromechanical checks. Additionally, I verified automation sequences and provided support during provisional operation and staff training.

2002 - 2012

Assistant maintenance manager (Société Armoricaine de Valorisation Energétique) - Industrial sludge and slaughterhouse waste incineration unit - SAVE Dépt 35.

I managed predictive and preventive maintenance using CMMS, handling work orders, supplier orders, and system troubleshooting during on-call rotations. I inspected, maintained, and calibrated smoke analyzers (SERVOMEX 02, CO, SO2, NOX, HCL) while training maintenance personnel and ensuring APAVE regulatory compliance. I also oversaw sensor installations, system commissioning, and maintenance for an industrial sludge and slaughterhouse waste incineration unit (SAVE Dépt 35), and trained shift operators in plant operations and furnace monitoring.

2001 - 2002

Commissioning Eng. Revamping Flue gas treatment for COPEX waste incineration plant at INDAVER - Belgium.

I commissioned a flue gas treatment system for LAB, including a bag filter, cooling tower, and scrubbers. I handled synchros, PID monitoring and settings, managed control sequences and interlocks, and optimized plant operations for MSI validation. Additionally, I provided training and consulting for company personnel.

1990 - 2001

Electro-mechanic in the French Navy (Aéronautique Navale) / Non-commissioned officer since 1994.

At BAN Lann Bihoué, I managed V2 ATL2 visit follow-ups and acted as the maintenance manager for Aerospatiale equipment linked to the ASMP. I trained maintenance personnel and monitored their skills, oversaw ammunition management and allocation tracking by flotilla, and worked as a technician in workshops at the naval air station and aboard the Foch and Charles de Gaulle aircraft carriers, actively participating in operations. I also served on-call as the security manager for our ammunition bunkers.
